Current Role
Steve Kaplan brings more than 25 years of private equity, strategy consulting and operating experience to the Riverside team.
Prior Experience
Prior to joining Riverside, Steve was a Managing Director of Audax Group, a private equity and venture capital firm with more than $1 billion in investment funds, and prior to that an Operating Partner at Texas Pacific Group. Steve’s operating experience includes serving as President of Harris Graphics, a $450 million printing press manufacturer, Executive Vice President and CFO of The Coleman Company, a $1.2 billion manufacturer of outdoor recreation equipment and of AM International, a $1.2 billion graphic arts equipment and supplies manufacturer. Steve began his career in strategy consulting and was a Partner at The Boston Consulting Group.
Education
Steve holds Bachelors degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and in Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as well as a Masters degree in Management from MIT.
